Men Will Always Cheat

One year Later

I was walking to the barn when I heard some motorcycles ride into the compound. I did not turn around and look. I didn't care who they were. It has been a year since I recovered from my accident. I still ride my horses.

I walked into the barn and took Storm out of his stall. I saddled him and walked him out of the barn. I put my foot into the stirrup and sat down in the saddle. I did not notice the biker leaning against the wall watching me.

I watched her as she got onto the horse. It was a big horse and I am surprised she can handle it. I still can't believe my brother cheated on her. I laugh because his fucking mistress used him. He was shocked but he deserved what he got.

I wish she belonged to me. But, she doesn't. She belongs to Psycho. I watched as she rode the horse toward the fields. I turned and walked inside her dad's clubhouse. As I sat down looking at dad he just smiled.

He knew that I would not step on Psycho's toes. I just wanted to make him think that he could lose his mate for good. I sat talking with Ace when she walked in the door. She walked over and hugged her brother and kissed her dad before sitting down.

"Well, if it isn't the big bad Wolf," she said looking at me.

I smiled at her and said if it isn't the mouth from the south. I smiled at Wolf and took a drink of my beer. Ace looked at me and asked if I wanted to go to town with him and Wolf.

"Where are you going?"

"The tattoo shop."

"Sure, I will come. I want to get a new tattoo, anyway."

We rode our bikes to town and parked them in front of the shop. As we walked in I saw a handsome man leaning against the wall. "Hello, Psycho," Wolf said. I heard this Psycho growl.

He looked at me and grinned. "Hello, mate,'' he said, "looking at me."

I frowned. "You are not my mate. So, do not call me that."

"I am your mate."

"No, you are not."

Ace called my name. I walked back to the station where a woman was giving me my tattoo. I don't know why I chose the one I did but it must have been subconscious. It was a broken heart that said, never forgive.

I wondered if Psycho was ever going to leave me alone. I won't let him near me or touch me. I paid for my tattoo and just as I turned around he was in front of me. He grabbed my arm and I glared at him.

"Get your hands off me I yelled at him."

I saw the shock on his face. I have no idea why he seemed shocked. I didn't care. My brother walked over and glared at Psycho. "Get your hands off my sister, Psycho."

I let go of her and stepped back. "She doesn't feel the shock. Why doesn't she feel the shock?"

Wolf and I looked at Psycho in shock ourselves. Julie should have felt the sparks, but Psycho said she didn't. We looked over at Julie.

"Is it true, Julie," I asked her. I looked into her eyes. I knew she was lying.

"I don't know what he is talking about."

"Let's go home now."

She walked out the door without looking back. I looked over at Wolf. And walked out behind my sister. I left Wolf to talk to Psycho. "Wolf, maybe she doesn't want you since you cheated."

I then turned, walked out the door, and over to my bike where I sat down. I looked over at Ace. "She is lying, she felt the sparks. She doesn't want him to know."

"Or she doesn't want to remember," Wolf told Ace.

"That could be. He did hurt her after all."

I slept in the room next to her. That night I heard her mumbling through the walls. I then heard her saying, don't remember, I don't want to remember him, don't want to remember the pain. I gritted my teeth hearing her say that. Then it got quiet.

An hour later I sat up in bed hearing her god-awful screams. I jumped up out of the bed and opened my door. I saw Ace and Savage, along with Ace's buddies standing in the hallway. I heard her begging the moon goddess to make it stop.

Then a woman was shoving the men aside, "Yelling, move your fat asses."

I ran into the room and looked at Julie. I turned and looked at Savage. "The spell broke blocking the pain. How the hell did he get close enough to touch her?"

"At the tattoo shop, Ace said."

"We couldn't stop him."

"She said she didn't feel the sparks. Wolf and I knew she was lying."

"You should have told me. I have to break the bond. If I don't she will go through this night after night. In the end, it can kill her."

"I need to contact the Elders about this."

"Psycho was her third chance mate. Not heard of for 500 years."

I turned and looked at Savage. Then back to Shawn. "Take care of Julie."

"Shotgun, come with me to my office."

As we walked to my office and Shotgun sat in the chair, I walked around the desk and sat down. I pushed the speaker and dialed the Elders. I explained what was going on Elder Kim spoke.

"The only way to break the connection is if Psycho has a brother who does not have a mate. In other words, His mate has to have died."

"He also has to have some feelings for her, and is willing to mark and mate her."

"Elder Kim, this is Alpha, Shotgun, Psycho's father."

"My oldest son, Wolf, wants Julie as his mate. He even told Psycho he would mate and mark her."

"Is he there with you?"

"No, I can have him come to the office."

"I mine linked Wolf to come to Savage's office."

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. "Come in, Savage said."

"You wanted to see me," Wolf said.

"Have a seat. Elder Kim wants to talk to you."

"Wolf, is it true you told Psycho, you would mate and mark Julie?"

"It is true."

"So, you don't have a mate?"

"My mate died when I was 21."

"Listen to what I have to say."

"Psycho is Julie's mate. He did not mark her, is that correct?"

"That is correct."

"He has continued to have sex with other she-wolfs and human women?"

"Yes, that is correct."

"You can mark and mate her if she chooses to accept you. But, her wolf must also accept you. It is the only way to break her mate's bond and stop the pain. That is unless she goes back to him."

"Thank you, Elder Kim."

"You are very welcome."

"Good luck."

We were quiet as Savage hung up the phone. He glared at me. "I am nothing like Psycho."

"Well, I am one way. I have anger issues. I am as strong as him, if not stronger. I can be very dangerous, but not to someone I care about. And certainly not towards a mate of my choosing."

"Then, I will talk to Julie. I want you all to get to know each other. Take her on a date. I will give her permission to ride behind you."

"I can accept that."

"Good, I will explain everything and let you know if she will agree."

We walked out of my office back to Julie's room. Shawn walked over sighing. I did what I could for her. "Shawn, I want to talk to you in my office. We watched as they walked away then we all went back to our own beds.

Ace stopped me at my door. "I know what happened in dad's office. He kept his mine link open to me. If you so much as hurt her like the others. We will kill you."

I watched as he and the soldiers glared at me and walked away. I will never hurt, Julie. I have seen too many mates screaming and full of bruises. That is the last thing I would ever do to a mate given to me.
